Mapping

In Maths, we have been doing work on maps, including figuring out what some things mean, like using latitude, longitude, which way is ACTUALLY the true north, and why the magnet of the compass is pointing which way, and how, with the help of TopoMap. We got given questions about a certain area on the map, and we had to answer them. Here are the questions, answers, and the map.
Map Work

The Black Numbers- The Black numbers could represent the height of the mountain.
The Green Parts- I think the green parts are National Reserves.
The Steepest hill-  Mt Olympus
The Highest Hill- Mt Olympus
The Dots- A man-made walking trail.

In Real Life- In real life, I can imagine this would look like a mountain Range with lots of lakes and rivers intertwined.
